satyameva jayate 2 movie download in hd || Satyameva jayate 2 movie review in English
'If she is not handcuffed, I will wear bangles in my hand'.
'You are an Indian woman, if you are determined, you are heavy on everything'.
These are two dialogues of the film 'Satyamev Jayate 2'. The contrast of these two lines tells you a lot about the film. If it seems less, then we are going to tell a lot more.
In 2018, a film named 'Satyamev Jayate' came, now its spiritual sequel 'Satyamev Jayate 2' has come. Spiritual sequel means more than one film based on the same idea with different storylines. The film 'Satyamev Jayate' was the story of a Vigilante killer, who wants to eradicate corruption from the society without any legal power. But the story of 'Satyamev Jayate 2' is about the Azad family based in Lucknow. Azad is his surname, there is no need to be too ambitious. The two brothers are Satya and Jai, whose names are apparently derived from Satyameva and Jayate.
Satya is the Home Minister in the coalition government in Uttar Pradesh. The second brother Jai is in the police. If 'Satyamev Jayate 2' is to be defined in one line, then it can be called a social revenge drama. But there is no shortage of lines, so let's talk in detail. There are three incidents in the film-
1) A strike is going on in the hospital, due to which a girl dies.
2) 40 children die after consuming madrassa food.
3) A big bridge in the city breaks down, in which many people lose their lives.
These three incidents build the story of 'Satyamev Jayate 2'. Because his Vigilante killer avenges these three incidents. The catch is that who is this Vigilante killer? The film gives the answer to this question in the first 15-20 minutes. Beyond this, you just have to see how he takes revenge on the people responsible for these three incidents. All this is shown full loud with the help of lots of one liners and action sequences.
There is a scene in the film, where Jai is beating some goons who are teasing the girl. The chief of the goons says that he is threatening the police uniform. In response, his hero Jai says-
Don't speak directly or see the body. This is the demand of the public as well.
There is nothing wrong with this scene. You say as soon as you see – this one is new bro. But this scene shows that the filmmaker is completely aware of what he is making. Despite this, he presents the worn-out plot in a terrible spice and presents it to the audience in a problematic manner. It was seen in many places that Milap Zaveri, who is the director of this film, is making a proper masala entertainer inspired by Hindi films made in the 80s. He has made 'Satyamev Jayate', and 'Mar Jawan' type films in the past. Which was well-liked on single screens. It is said that Milap makes films for the month. But where is it written that the mass does not have the right to watch sensible cinema. First of all, the films that were made in the 80s were new and fresh content according to their time.
In 'Satyamev Jayate 2' no character is talking directly. Everyone is talking in punchlines and one liners. A few lines may sound funny to you, but on most occasions, those lines do not land properly. But even more surprising is that the film has a whistle and clap track. When John Abraham took off his shirt for the first time, suddenly there was a sound of whistles and applause. I thought the public was getting too excited. But in the next scene I realized that this clap-whistle is not public, the film itself is playing.
'Satyamev Jayate 2' tries hard to cash in on the extreme patriotic atmosphere going on in the country. But seems confused about her political leanings. Or rather, it remains clear. Hero is talking about 56 inch chest and dole on everything. So on the other hand the issue of farmers is being talked about. There are hunger strikes. There is a precise comment on Hindu-Muslim unity. Apart from any particular party, the film talks only about the country.
Satyamev Jayate 2' behaves in a big way towards women. He does not understand how to deal with the women of the film. As we mentioned in the beginning of our conversation, two dialogues. In many events of the film, women act as catalysts. In a way, there is talk of women empowerment. On the other hand, men are being made heroes by calling women inferior. When it comes to Women of 'Satyamev Jayate 2', how to leave out the leading lady of the film, Divya Khosla Kumar. Every time Divya talks in the film, you feel that someone is reading something from somewhere. That too in a very dramatic way. Divya Khosla Kumar's loss is a different level of disappointment in a film on which John Abraham himself stands on the acting front.
Harsh Chhaya and Gautami Kapoor are the actors who are able to give some support to the film on the acting front. Had he had the chance, he might have made the film something worth watching. But where three or three John Abrahams are showing their bodies and shouting their patriotism, where will there be anything left for the other actors.
Overall, the thing is that 'Satyamev Jayate 2' is the content that spoils the name of the masala genre. You are romanticizing extra judicial beats in the name of patriotism. Vigilante is celebrating the killing. And at the end of the film, everything is saying that everything is going well. Even if 'Satyamev Jayate 2' is made for entertainment purposes only, then its problematic angle cannot be ignored. Because cinema is seen as a very effective medium in India. Many times people forget to differentiate between what is being shown on the screen and reality. In such a situation, it becomes the responsibility of the filmmakers to take special care of it.
